In the morning, post breakfast, we will drive to Shri Badrinath ji. It has several temples en-route, including Narsingh temple. You may visit these shrines and continue the drive. On arrival, transfer to a hotel. Take a holy dip in a warm water kund (Tapt Kund), and visit Badrinath Temple. Later, you may visit the last village falls before Tibetan border, Mana Village, along with Byas Cave, Bheem Pul and Ganesha Cave. Get back to a hotel in Badrinath. In evening, you may also visit the shrine to attend the holy Aarti. Have overnight stay at hotel.
Badrinath Temple is a living epitome of devotion for mankind and humanity. It is located around 3415m above the sea level in Garhwal Hills along Alaknanda River. This sacred shrine is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Legends had it Lord Vishnu once meditated here for thousands of consecutive years under a Badri tree. Hence, it is named as Badrinath. It has a Shaligram statue built in meditation pose and the temple was built by Adi Shankaracharya in 9th century. Badrinath Dham Temple can easily be reached from Rishikesh, Haridwar and Kotdwar.
